Y2 - What lives in a microhabitat?

This week we have been outside to learn for two of our lessons. We were looking at microhabitats in Science and we found so many interesting tiny creatures living under logs, in the grass and in muddy areas. We were very careful with the logs as we learnt that this is their home and we didn't want to hurt them when we put the roof back on. We found beetles, woodlice, wriggly worms of different lengths, spiders, ants and various other insects.

In Maths we did a shape scavenger hunt to see if we could find natural things in the surroundings to match the shapes we had been discussing in class.
