Reception had a vote about what they would like for their ‘Star Jar’ reward this term.  “A visit to the park” got the most votes!

We had a fabulous ‘Dinosaur Discovery Day’ with Alex from Bolton Museum.  We became palaeontologists digging for fossils.  We rebuilt a skeleton.  We looked at fossils and had a go at drawing them.  We each created our own colourful dinosaur!  We then moved like the dinosaurs pretending that we were a T-Rex’s and lots of other dinosaurs.  Finally we became dinosaur spotters and had to see how many we could spot!  It was a fantastic day.
