Here's what the class have been busy learning about this half term.
Autumn 2
In our Science topic (Earth and Space) we looked at the Phases of the Moon and recreated the phases with Oreo biscuits. A very interesting and tasty lesson!
We produced beautifully presented information texts all about Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in English.
In Science, we conducted experiments to see how bicarbonate of soda would react with other items.
Year 5 won their class prize, they enjoyed watching a film that linked to our English unit while wearing their PJs and eating popcorn!
Autumn 1
We wrote letters in English for or against letting a stranger into the Kingdom. The children really got into character!
We produced Art work inspired by our class Artist- Keith Haring.
