Reception have enjoyed R.E. Week this week. we read different bible stories, such as Noah's Ark, The Good Samaritan and David and Goliath. We talked about why these are important stories to Christians and that they teach us how to be good. We looked at special books in different religions, such as the Bible, Qur'an and the Torah. We then thought about which books are special to us and wrote about it. On top of all this, we had a yoga session which was lots of fun!
Reception have been going around the world this week! First we made England flags as it was the England game on Tuesday. Our support did the trick and they won! Next we went to France, building Eiffel Towers and learning French words. After that, we went to China! We set up a Chinese restaurant, made chow mien and took part in Chinese activities! In between we had lots of child led activities, including a pirate ship and a spa afternoon!
