Hazlehurst SEN Parent to Parent Network
The Hazlehurst SEN Parent to Parent Network is a welcoming, informal group of parents and carers of children at Hazlehurst with special educational needs. If you feel you would benefit from participating in this group, please join us at our next meeting for tea or coffee, biscuits and a chat.
Our primary role is to offer support and friendship in an informal setting.
Our three core aims are:
- to enable peer to peer support for parents and carers of children at Hazlehurst with special educational needs;
- to achieve the best outcomes for these children via a strong partnership between parents and carers and school staff; and
- to be a stakeholder group open to consultation on matters related to special educational needs.
We aim to meet on the first [Monday/Tuesday] of every month in the Hazles’ room from 9am to 10.30am, where possible. Details of our forthcoming meetings are published on the school website.
We welcome input from external sources during some meetings and feel this is of great benefit to both parents and staff.
As the meetings are held for the benefit of all parents and carers of children at Hazlehurst with special educational needs, we welcome all suggestions as to the format and content of our meetings.
If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via the school office - 01706 822002, email@example.com
