Year 5 Trip to Martin Mere Wildfowl Trust - Summer 2010 Year 5 had a great time learning about life cycles in nature at Martin Mere. They recreated an ant colony by acting out the different jobs of all the ants (including visits to the queen ant!); they cycled through the seasons in the Viking Village; they got close up and fed the birds, and they went a bit wild themselves in the adventure play area! Thanks to all the staff for helping and to the children for their brilliant behaviour.
