2009 Harvest Festival

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year’s Harvest Festival such a great success. The children’s singing was wonderful and the contributions from each class were excellent. Over 100 parents and friends came to watch the service and join in our celebration of this special time of year.

Thanks to everyone who sent in donations for the Porch Boxes charity appeal. We were able to send over £350 worth of food and other items to help this worthwhile charity provide crisis care in our locality.

Our reception children brought in lovely boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables, and after the service the Year 2 children delivered these to some of our local elderly residents and gave another performance of their favourite Harvest songs.
